Designed specifically for SMEs, this defence and security-focused event will provide an opportunity to explore the realities of the marketplace and offer a wealth of information and interesting meetings for SMEs in the defence and security sectors.
The Symposium will again cover a wide range of topics, including an overview of the Government of Canada’s Defence and Coast Guard procurement projects, the economic benefits of the Future Fighter Capability Project (FFCP), and the involvement of SMEs under the Industrial and Technological Benefits (ITB) Policy.
Companies will also be able to meet with key defence and security market players, including Public Services and Procurement Canada, Innovation, Science and Economic Development Canada, the Department of National Defence, the Canadian Armed Forces, the Coast Guard, and many prime contractors.
Conferences will be held in the morning. After lunch, participants will be offered a tour of Bombardier’s completion centre.
